FAQs
-
Your membership activates on the date of your first class booking. However, please note that payment is processed at the time of purchase. This means you’ll be charged immediately, but your membership benefits commence with your first booked class.
-
Commit memberships are billed monthly for 6 months and cannot be cancelled during the term.
However, we understand that life happens — so you’re able to pause your membership once during the 6-month period. Just email us and we’ll take care of it.
-
You can start booking classes as soon as your membership purchase is complete.
Just log in to the Momence app or website using the email address you used at checkout. When booking a class, you’ll be able to select your membership as the payment method — no need to wait or activate anything manually.
-
We use the Momence app to make booking and managing your classes easy.

To get started, download the app from the App Store or Google Play.
Create an account using the same email you used when signing up at Sojourn. Once you’re logged in, you’ll be able to view the schedule, book classes, manage your membership and track your attendance.
If you need help setting things up, just email us at hello@sojournpilates.com — we’re happy to help.

There is free on-street parking available nearby.
We kindly ask that you do not park on Fretter Close, as it can get busy and we want to be considerate to our neighbours. Instead, we recommend Speedwell Drive or Blockley Road, both just a short walk from the studio. Please allow 5 minutes to park and walk in.
-
If it’s your first time, please arrive 10 minutes early to get settled. For all other classes, aim for 5 minutes before start time.
Grip socks are mandatory for all classes. You’re welcome to bring your own — any grippy pair will do. They’re widely available from Amazon or other retailers. If you’d prefer to buy in-studio, we stock £5 pairs and a wide range of Melisoles (£15). Members receive 10% off all retail.
Cancellations must be made at least 12 hours before class to avoid losing your credit.
We ask everyone to be mindful of their phones while in the studio. Please don’t take calls or film during class. If content creation is your thing, we’ll have designated times and sessions available — just ask.

Whatever you feel comfortable moving in. Leggings, shorts, oversized tees — it’s all welcome. We focus on alignment, but there’s no dress code beyond comfort.
Grip socks are required, but you’re free to wear whatever helps you feel your best. Layers can be a good idea for Pause classes or cooler days.

Absolutely. Most of our clients are brand new to reformer Pilates.
You don’t need any prior experience to join — our classes are designed to help you build strength, confidence and connection at your own pace. We focus on form, breath and control, and we’ll guide you through everything you need to know.
If you’re just starting out, we recommend beginning with our Flow and Pause classes on the schedule. These sessions are slower-paced, with plenty of guidance and space to build confidence.
Still unsure? Our Explore packages or a 1:1 session is a great place to start. And if you’ve got questions before booking, just drop us a message — we’ll help you find the right fit.

Flow is our beginner-level reformer Pilates class and a great place to start. It’s suitable for all levels and works through a variety of movements on the reformer to help you build strength, control and confidence. Expect a full-body workout that focuses on breath, precision and the principles of Pilates. You might feel those signature Pilates shakes — but we always keep a close eye on form and progression.
Pause is slower and more restorative. It’s ideal if you’re looking to ground, reset or ease into movement gently. Think breath-led mobility, deep stretching and time to tune in.
We do offer a more advanced class (Ignite) which will be added to the schedule once we’ve had time to get to know our members’ movement patterns. You’ll never be placed in a class that isn’t right for you.

“I loved my Pilates sessions with Charlotte. I felt super supported and comfortable. In class, Charlotte gave modifications so it was suitable for everyone. I felt like I’d done a great workout, but also relaxed and stretched out by the end. I always feel amazing after her classes! Would 10/10 recommend.”
